What are Termites (white Ants)?
Termites (White Ants) as they are popularly called are amongst the most destructive pests in the tropics.
There are THREE types of termites.
Subterranean Termites.
Dry Wood Termites.
Damp Wood Termites.
The Subterranean Termites enter through the soil while the dry wood and damp wood termites have no contact with the soil but can also destroy valuable property, furniture, timber and furnishing etc.etc. anything silently and swiftly before even we are aware of the damage done.
They crawl up through the minute cracks and crevices in the floors and walls of the building, as they march forward they build mud channels to provide themselves with darkness and higher humidity which they required to survive. Other then termites there are WOOD BORER WORMS , BITTLE NUT WORMS , POWDER POST BITTLES . Which destroy wood, ply wood, wooden members Viz: wooden frames partition, door and window frames etc. etc.
What will be eradicated ?
