Activated Alumina is manufactured by latest technology to attain the high quality properties such as adsorption, surface area pore volume and mechanical strength. The main advantage of our activated alumina are ease of handling, non corrosive nature, capacity for repeated regeneration, inert towards liquid water, stability to fairly high temperature, low resistance to gas flow, great mechanical strength and can achieve low dew point of -700C.
Activated alumina is used for drying of air, gasses, liquids, purification and conditioning of insulating oil and industrial oils. Removal of acidic impurities and trace metal scavenging in organic streams and inorganic gasses. Removal of oil vapours from gases. Purification of drinking water eg removal of floride compounds etc. Used in refrigeration circuits, transit packing for goods like electronic, pharmaceutical and food used as catalyst and catalyst based support/carriers and many more.
RAPIDs activated alumina is supplied in air tight polythene lined steel drums of 50 lit and 200 lit capactity.
