| Premac started in the year 1985 and was manufacturing water pump and crank shaft pulleys, impellors as initial products. Later it added engine valve tappets to its product range and started supplying to M/S. Simpson and Co Ltd, Chennai. After becoming a vendor of M/s. Autolec Industries we have started concentrating in machining of tappets for various applications. The range covers tappets of Telco, Leyland, Kirloskar, Mahindra etc of OE and export applications.
As a process of upgradation, the company was ISO 9001-2000 certified in March 2003 by International Certifications Ltd JAS- ANZ, Newzealand for manufacture and supply of machined components.
Future Plans of Premac
Premac has plans to install CNC lathe and VMC and or any other relevant machineries and widen its customer base.
Profile of the Propreitor
K. Panneerchelvam, propreitor is a BE graduated in the year 1979 from college of Engineering, Guindy. He has additional qualification of PG Diploma in SQC and OR of Indian Statistical Institute and Diploma in Mechanical CAD of CADD Center. He had his initial assignment with M/S. Simpson and Co Ltd., as quality Engineer and later as Works Manager - M/S. Autolec Industries Ltd., Chennai. |
