| Chetna Pathology Laboratory was established in 1979 by Late Dr.J.H.Balwani. We do Pre-recruitment Check-ups, Pathology, Biochemistry, Micro-bio histopathlogy etc.
We are servicing to Individuals, Pre-recruitment check-ups for Co-operates like Telco, LIC insurance etc.
Dr.Izhar Nisar Bagwan is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) M.D.Pathology and has a vast experience of 4years (One Year – Curator, Three Years – Resident in Pathology).
HISTOPATHOLOGY & CYTOPATHOLOGY:
Reception, Grossing and trimming of biopsies and surgical specimens.
Well acquainted with the knowledge of principles of tissue fixation, processing, embedding, section cutting and routine and special staining techniques including frozen section techniques Reporting of histology slides independently.
MORBID ANATOMY (AUTOPSY)
Performed more than 35 clinical Postmortems independently fiving the final cause of death after clinico-pathological correlation.
Familiar with various autopsy techniques.
Attended and took active participation in presentations in Death Conference.
HEMATOLOGY
Examination and Reporting of various Body Fluids, Peripherals Blood Smear, Urine and other routine and special hematological investigations (Hemoglobin, ESR, PCV, Reticulocyte Count, Sickling Test, Coombs Test, Osmotic Fragility, Sucrose Lysis and Hams' Test, Etc)
Examinations and reporting of Bone Marrow aspirations independently.
BLOOD BANKING
Acquired knowledge of routing Blood Banking Techniques (Blood Grouping and Cross Matching, Component Separation, Screening tests for HIV, HCV, HbsAg, VDRL, etc.)
Good at bleeding a donor and in arranging and conducting blood donation camps.
MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY
Well Versed with different culture mediums and plating techniques in Bacteriology as well as with various immunological testing methods in Serology (WIDAL, ELISA, VDRL, ETC.)
CHEMICAL PATHOLOGY
Well acquainted with routing qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, Colorimetry and Electrophoresis.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Rural Internship Project - "PREVALANCE OF DENTAL CARIES AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN"
Dissertation Topic for MD Pathology -"HISTOPATHOLOGICAL STUDY OF SPECTRUM OF LESIONS ENCOUNTERED IN THE FALLOPIAN TUBE, done over a period of 3 years.
