Agadi Clinical Laboratory was started by Dr. B.M.Agadi and is in existence since 1976.
The center providers service in all the basic and various sub-specialities such as General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obsteric and Gynecology, Pediatric and Pediatric surgery, cardio-thoracic and Vasculat (other than open heart surgery), Orthopedic, Neurology, Neuro-surgery, Psychiatry, ENT, Opnthalmology, etc. Each speciality is nursed and headed by the concerned specialise.
Agadi Hospital also has supportive facilities such as Intensive care unit. (with ventilators – invvasice and non-invasive), Hemodialysis, Physiotherapy and ambulance services.
The center has a well equipped laboratory with state of the art equipments; diagnostic facilities such as Pathology, Microbiology, Hematology, Radiology, Ultrasonoly, Doppler, Echocardiography, ECG, tread mill, Cardio-pulmonary lab., endoscopy are available. The laboratory, radiology and ECG are available 24 hours of the day.
The Hospital has 3 well planned Operating theatres, a well equipped labor room. A 24 hour casualty service is available. On an average 7,500 out patients, nearly 2,000 surgeries performed and 500 deliveries conducted yearly.
The Hospital has 60 beds. There are 170 employees which include 130 inhouse medical staff and 50 nursing staff.
Hospital is recognised for treatment of central government employees by CGHS. Hospital is also recognised for treament of their employees by State Legislature assembly and council, many third party insurance companies (for corporate employees), BEML, MICO, NGEF, NAL, IIMB, BSNL, etc.
